Sonigo International and El Al Team Up in a Gesture in Support of the Hostages

On the 14th of January, 2024, El Al flew the “Hourglass”, from Israel to New York
as a way to raise global awareness of the plight of the hostages in Gaza.

The ticking clock symbolizes the need to release them immediately.
The “Hourglass”, a large and delicate work of art, was packed for the journey by Sonigo International who are experts in packing all kinds of large and sensitive items.

The “Hourglass” is the unique creation of the non-profit “RAMAT HASHNAIM”
and it was placed centrally in Tel Aviv in Kikar HaBima several weeks ago.
The complicated project of moving the hourglass to New York required packing the Hourglass by someone with the skill and experience to handle such a large and sensitive piece.
The project was done to mark 100 days in captivity for the hostages and to contribute to the struggle for their release.
Sonigo International has been donating time and resources whenever it can to help raise awareness of the hostages’ situation, so Sonigo was happy to team up with El Al in this project and to contribute its services to pack the “Hourglass” for its journey to the USA.
